There are so many great Christian Apologists who have taken on the battle, both spiritually and culturally, to present the evidential truth of Christianity to a world that is so often deceived. This week I am spotlighting three more top Apologists: Dr. Norman Geisler, Lee Strobel and Mary Jo Sharp who have, over their careers, taken on some of the toughest questions asked of Christianity with thorough, reasonable and sound answers. They have profoundly impacted my life and walk with Jesus, I hope they will yours too! Please take some time to listen to what they have to say:
1. Dr. Norman Geisler, PhD, is a prolific author of over 100 books, veteran professor, speaker, lecturer, traveler, philosopher, apologist, evangelist, and theologian. He has taught theology, philosophy, and apologetics at the college or graduate level for over 50 years and has served as a professor at some of the finest Seminaries in the United States, including Trinity Evangelical Seminary and Dallas Theological Seminary.
Dr. Geisler’s long list of educational accomplishments, professorships and professional affiliations can be found on his website. He is the current Distinguished Professor of Apologetics at Veritas Evangelical Seminary and has mentored many of the top Apologists today.
Listen to this 29 minutes presentation by Dr. Geisler as he gives a strong case for Christianity based on the book he wrote with Dr. Frank Turek that I highly recommend reading called “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be An Atheist.”
2. Lee Strobel has by far had the most profound and lasting influence on my studies as a Christian Apologist. His journey from atheism to Christianity is amazing, and the subsequent series of “Case for” books can impact even the most ardent skeptic or the most mature Christian.
Atheist-turned-Christian Lee Strobel is the former award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune and best-selling author of more than twenty books. His classic, The Case for Christ, is a perennial favorite which details his conversion to Christianity. His recent release, The Case for Grace, just won the 2016 Nonfiction Book of the Year from the EPCA. For the last twenty-five years his life’s work has been to share the evidence that supports the truth claims of Christianity and to equip believers to share their faith with the people they know and love.
Lee is a professor of Christian Thought at Houston Baptist University and a teaching pastor at Woodlands Church in Texas. Listen to Lee’s 46 minute Case for Christ presentation that includes his own journey from atheism to Christianity.
3. Mary Jo Sharp has become one of the top female Christian Apologists of our day. She is a rising star as a speaker and author in defense of the faith. Mary Jo is a former atheist from the Pacific Northwest who thought religion was for the weak-minded, but she now holds a Masters in Christian Apologetics from Biola University and is the first woman to become a Certified Apologetics Instructor through the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Mary Jo is currently an assistant professor of apologetics at Houston Baptist University, she is on faculty with Summit Ministries, and is an author with Kregel Publications and B&H Publications. Mary Jo is truly an inspiration for women in Apologetics and those who are seeking answers from an intellectual point of view. Listen to Mary Jo’s 54 minute presentation on how to dialogue with an Atheist:
He must have a strong belief in the trustworthy message he was taught; then he will be able to encourage others with wholesome teaching and show those who oppose it where they are wrong. Titus 1:9 (NLT)

You will not find this material in the public school curriculum even though it is based on solid evidence and grounded in research. It is ironic that following the evidence to where it leads stops at the door of our public schools as they will not let a “Divine footprint” in! Join us as we examine evidence for Christianity and learn how to become a thoughtful defender and ambassador of your faith.
